Resident Snow Removal

At the February 27th, 2024 Council passed the following motion:

MOVED by Mayor Ethier that the Summer Village of Sunrise Beach Council approve the implementation of a one-time driveway snow removal for residents at a cost of $50.00, with a one week in advance request from resident, and direct administration to set up registration and payment options.

For any residents interested in taking advantage of the one time snow removal please contact the office at administration@svsunrisebeach.ca or 780-961-4465 to get set up.

To set up service, please email the office at administration@svsunrisebeach.ca so we can have you sign a copy of the agreement, and arrange payment before November 30th.

Cost is as follows:

  • Small: $200/for the winter

  • Medium: $250/for the winter

  • Large: $300/for the winter


Tax Certificates

Tax Certificates - Get Your Property Tax Details

A Tax Certificate provides key information about your property’s tax status, including the property tax levy for the year, any outstanding taxes or arrears, the legal land description, municipal address, year built, current assessed value, and details about annual local improvement charges. If applicable, it also includes your current tax account balance and monthly payment information.

Tax Certificate Fees

  • Regular Tax Certificate: $25.00

How to Order Your Tax Certificate
To request a Tax Certificate, email your details to the Summer Village of Sunrise Beach Administration at administration@svsunrisebeach.ca. Please include the municipal address or Legal Land Description (Lot, Block & Plan) of the property you’re inquiring about.

Payment Options

EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer):

  1. Add Emily House (cao@svsunrisebeach.ca) as a contact in your bank.

  2. Before Submitting put in the message box that the payment is for a Tax Certificate and for which property.

Cash, Cheque, or Money Order:

  1. Email your request with property details to administration@svsunrisebeach.ca

  2. For faster processing, attach a photocopy of your cheque or money order, and we will email your Tax Certificate right away. If paying by cash, we will wait for the physical payment to arrive before processing your certificate.


Waste Pick-up

Excess and large waste can be taken to the Regional Landfill Site operated by the Highway 43 East Waste Commission.  The site is located on Highway 43 and Range Road 35.  The Landfill site is Open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is closed Sundays.
